Young Indian shooters make it a watershed year with 16 gold medals

The Indian rifle & pistol shooters had won 12 World Cup gold medals in 33 years till 2018. In just 8 months in this year, 2019, Indian shooters clinched 16 gold medals. The young shooting brigade of the country ended their 4-edition World Cup series with 22 medals — 16 gold, four silver and two bronze medals. They also won 9 quota places for the Tokyo Olympics.
