Bank unions call for 2-day strike, services may be hit

Banking services could be affected across the country on January 8-9 as a section of state-owned bank employees would go on a two-day strike against the government's alleged anti-worker policy. The All India Bank Employees Association (AIBEA) and Bank Employees Federation of India has informed the Indian Banks' Association (IBA) of the nation-wide strike.
