To ease the burden on its cash logistics, to address an increase in a number of fraudulent ATM transactions and to encourage digital/cashless transactions, the State Bank of India, ahead of the festival season has halved cash withdrawal limit on its ATM cards from Rs 40,000 to Rs 20,000.
